Merry meet, Dear Seeker!
(This is pretty long, but some of it may not being showing up. Please let me know if you cannot read all 6 paragraphs.)
Today, I will be discussing sexuality. There are at least four types of sexuality that I know enough about to feel comfortable talking about. These are Homosexuality, Bisexuality, Heterosexuality, and Asexuality. There are more sexualities that i have heard of, like Demi-sexuality and Pan-sexuality, but I do not know enough about them to talk about them.
Let us begin with Homosexuality. Homosexuality is the sexual attraction towards the same sex with little to no sexual attraction to the opposite sex. It does not mean you are girly and like sparkles. That's called being fabulous, which any sexuality can be. It does not mean you are grossly-obsessed with the same sex. It does not mean that you want to be the opposite sex. Being homosexual does not make you against others who experience Heterosexual love.
Moving on, we come to Bisexuality. Bisexuality is the sexual attraction towards both sexes, which can have varying degrees of attraction. It does not mean you are pretending to be Bi because you are homosexual. It does not make you a whore or a slut, both of which require engaging in prostitution and/or being lustful. Being Bi does not mean you are against others who experience Heterosexual or Homosexual love.
Then we come to Heterosexuality. Heterosexuality is the sexual attraction to the opposite sex with little to no sexual attraction to the same sex. It does not mean you are in a traditional romance; Homosexual relationships have been around just as long as Heterosexual ones. It does not mean you are in denial about who you are in love with. It does not mean you are Christian. It does not mean you are anti-Homosexual or anti-Bisexual.
And last, but not least (or maybe in this cause it is least, since only 1% or less of the population is Asexual), is Asexuality; my sexuality. Being Asexual means that you have no sexual attraction to any sex. It does not mean you have hormone issues. It does not mean that you have not yet found that "right person to make you feel like wow." It does not mean there is something wrong with you. It does not mean that you are engaging in celibacy; the act of choosing not to get married or have sex. It does not mean that you are highly spiritual. It does not mean that you are against others engaging in sexual acts. Some Asexuals masturbate, well others do not. I do not.
Regardless of your sexuality, you are still human and deserve every right that all other humans have. No one has the right to take those rights away. No one has the right to perform "corrective" rape against you. No one has the right to say "no" to you being with the one you love. No one has the right to take away what you stand for. No one has the right to say "no, you cannot love that person." Only you have the right to choose what happens to you. No one else has the right.
Merry part and Blessed Be, Dear Seeker. )O(
