Hail and fair welcome, dear seeker!
As I go on in my life, the more and more I realize that I know next to nothing. Perhaps some of you have heard the song that goes, "The more I see the less I know" (Say Hey (I Love you)). This is one of the truest statements I have ever heard in my life. So when asked, "What do I truly know?" I must answer with, "What do you truly know?"
Think about it. What do we, as humans, truly know? Science is our method of trying to understand what we don't know, and, yet, it cannot answer all of the questions. Science tends to prove its self wrong over the years. The world is flat, no its round. The earth is the center of the universe, no its not. Ect...... Does this mean science is wrong? No, it does not. It merely means that truly knowing something is not the same as knowing something. We will never truly know everything, but we can know everything.
A simpler way of putting this is as follows, If all you ever see are green apples, then you know that apples are green. However, there are many other colors of apples, including, but not limited to, golden, red, and pink. You, however, would have no way of knowing this. So you know that apples are green, but you do not truly know that apples have many colors.
It is impossible to truly know everything. Humans can advance science and technology until there is no other ways to advance it, and they still wont have all the answers. How do I know this? Well, it makes sense that there are things that we'll never know. Do I truly know this? Of course not. There is no way I could truly know such a thing. I'm not immortal nor am I all knowing, after all.
So what is truth? What are lies? What is knowledge? So many questions to think about and to ponder.
until next time, merry meet, merry part, merry meet again, and blessed be, dear seeker. )O(
